WILL THIS BE A TEMPORARY PROJECT?
The LRC is not a temporary project. There will always be homeless people and there will always be people within our community who need our help. The Life Rebuilding Center is here to stay, change and protect the lives within our community. A good neighbor is always there to help and that's what we intend to do.
WILL YOUR PLANS INCLUDE NEEDS SUCH AS MENTAL HEALTH, EDUCATION, JOB TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT?
The plan for the LRC is to create individual living areas for each client. The center will include mental health services, education programs, job training, and job placement help catered for each individual's needs. The LRC will create an environment to not only house the homeless Angelenos but restore the quality of their lives.
HOW WILL YOU PROTECT THE NEIGHBORING BUSINESSES TO THE LRC BUILDING FROM THE DOWNSIDES OF HOUSING THE HOMELESS LIKE RECIDIVISM, DRUGS AND VIOLENCE?
The Life Rebuilding Center will not be like the homeless shelters you see today. There will not be homeless hanging around outside and sleeping on the street attracting illegal activity. The LRC is NOT a shelter and is NOT just a bed in a room. It is a life rebuilding campus with health services, education programs, support, and encouragement catered to each individual. The LRC is an overall wellness center with a team of trained professionals guiding these homeless Angelenos who need more than a roof over their heads but a helping hand.
The Life Rebuilding Center will have a police substation, fire substation, and extra security guards on campus who will ensure there is zero illegal activity happening with the attracted clientele. The LRC will be a community within a community with amenities, gardens, and pet parks generating a positive environment and deferring illegal predators.
Once LRC is created and the homeless have a place to go they will no longer be allowed to sleep on the streets as they are today. This will immensely help clean up Los Angeles and make a happier living environment for everyone.
